Emily is a native to Salem, South Dakota and graduated from McCook Central High School in 2015. She attended the University of South Dakota following for undergraduate and graduate studies. There, she received bachelor's degrees in psychology and health science and her doctorate in occupational therapy. She values a wholistic, preventative style of healthcare services and believes in a client-centered approach to treatment. Her areas of interest include upper extremity rehab, mental health, productive aging, chronic health management, neurological disorders and conditions, and rural healthcare.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys golfing, gardening, fishing, cooking, watching her favorite sports teams, and spending time with friends and family.
