A stroke can affect balance, vision, memory, speech, and cognition, and other complications including temporary or permanent paralysis on one side of the body. When a comes to the topic of strokes, wellness and exercise are key components for prevention and rehabilitation. The CDC recommends that adults get 2 hours and 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity, such as a brisk walk, each week. At McCook Wellness, our goal is to provide you with several wellness groups to help you stay moving and healthy! See our list of groups to try or give us a call at 605-425-3303.
